There are a lot of schools that are interested to bring in 3D printing into their classrooms but have no idea where to start on how to implement it into the lessons. We have identified that all institutions will have the same barriers and our solution is designed to address all the needs to get your institution started in 3D printing, at the same time to maximise your investment in the 3D printers.
Hardware
We have partnered with local distributors and manufacturers of 3D printers that are suitable for the education sector. We do not want teachers and educators to spend too much time in troubleshooting and setting up the printers but to just start using it in their lessons from the get-go. Our partners will provide technical support locally.
Makers Empire
On the software side, we are the exclusive partner of Makers Empire in Malaysia and Singapore. The Makers Empire tablet app provides an easy and intuitive way for students from as young as 3 to 12 years old to start making in 3D. There will also be integrated lesson plans provided as well as a teacher’s portal. They are based in Adelaide, Australia and the team is made up of experienced and that is passionate to change education for the better by integrating new technologies.
Lesson Plans
This is what’s missing in a lot of 3D printing implementation in the education sector. Actual lesson plans to get educators started and as a demonstration on how 3D printing can be implemented in the classrooms. We have developed lesson plans in various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Language Arts etc.
Training
Pixsell Malaysia will support your educators by training them on using the hardware and design software. We aim to equip all teachers irregardless of technical expertise on using the 3D printers. And since we have selected easy-to-use hardware with intuitive and simple design software, every teacher can implement 3D printing in their lessons.
