1BestariNet + Frog VLE

Pixsell, the official training partner of Google in Education in Malaysia for the 1BestariNet project, is proud to announce the Certification Bootcamp for Google Educator by Pixsell – a three-day hands-on workshop covers all you need to know about the core Google Apps suite that you will find in your 1BestariNet Frog VLE system – Yes Mail (Google Mail), Google Drive, Google Calendar and using the Chrome browser that comes part of the Chromebook Mobile Lab. 1BestariNet teachers will also be exposed to Google Sites as a requirement to take the Google Educator certification exams, then guided through the examination process as well as begin the application process towards becoming a Google Education Trainer. As a bonus, 1BestariNet teachers will also learn about how to search effectively that can be applied anywhere, within Frog VLE or in Google Search.

1BestariNet is a project initiated by the Malaysian Ministry of Education in line with the government’s vision of providing quality, Internet-enabled education for all as part of the Malaysian National Education Blueprint. The Yes ID that is provided by the Ministry of Education enables teachers, students and parents to access the Frog Virtual Learning Environment (Frog VLE) and Google Apps. Built into the 1BestariNet system, Google Apps powers the Yes Mail system as well as the Google Drive productivity suite – used on Chromebooks and any other device with the same 1BestariNet Yes ID.

This program is perfect for all teachers that were given or have access to 1BestariNet network and Frog VLE accounts. Our trainers are certified Google Education Trainers.

Topics Covered

In-depth coverage of Yes Mail(Google Mail), Google Drive, Google Calendar and Google Sites as well as the Google Chrome browser as required to ace the Google Apps Educator certification exam.

We will also cover the application process to apply for the Google Education Trainer program, as well as a bonus session on Power Searching education.

There will be no in-depth coverage on Frog VLE system or the 1BestariNet network. Google Apps with a Yes ID runs on the 1BestariNet/Frog VLE network but can also be done outside of the 1BestariNet/Frog VLE system.
